A hot and muggy day here in Boulder, as it is about to reach record for just how hot it really is. The best way for anybody to keep cool is to stay inside their homes or jump in a pool and stay there for most of the day. Why would somebody be out in this heatwave unless you have to work out in it and some do. However to our ears we happen to hear a noise coming from a local high school, surprise it is a Saturday afternoon at that. Who would be in school? However as we head around to the back of this local high school we see that America past time is being played none other than baseball. A quick glance at the scoreboard the Beavers are ahead of the Tigers by a score of 3 to 2. As it appears the Tigers are up to the bat. As the Beavers are in the field. The Beavers are playing in orange and black jersey.
The young pitcher on the mound a string bean if you asked me. The kid has to close to 6 feet tall and weighs maybe 130 soaking wet. He stares right into his catcher as he puts down a finger, maybe the old number one he is calling, a good old fashion fastball. He shakes his catcher off. The catcher puts down two fingers an possible indication that he wants for him to throw a curve ball, but again his pitcher shakes him off. The Catcher with an baffle look on his face as if we can see through his mask. He shakes his head as he looks at the hitter.
The hitter for the Beavers stands a tad of 6 feet tall himself but built like Jose Canseco. The young man focus on the pitcher as he awaits for the pitch that he may just throw. The hitter legs are as big as a tree trunk, as he moves them around awaiting for the pitch. The hitter has on an yellow and white jersey as he steps out of the batter's box as he is getting tired of waiting for the pitcher to make his decision on what pitch he might want to throw. The catcher turns to the umpire as he calls for time. He heads out to the mound to talk to his pitcher. As he reaches the mound he puts his right hand of his pitcher shoulder.
Catcher: I think a curve ball away is the right pitch in this spot. He can't lay off that outside pitch, and I think you can get him. After all you have two strikes on him. I know you can get him with your curve ball.
Pitcher: I am thinking change up on the outside half of the plate. I am like you on this one. I think he will go fishing for it.
Catcher: I think he can certainly catch up to that change up and put it over the fence.
Pitcher: I ain't so such that he can.
The two continue to battle back and forth just as about there coach comes out from the dugout.
Catcher: Okay we will go for the change up.
The catcher heads back behind home plate as he awaits for the pitch. He looks at the hitter as he puts down three fingers for the change up. He sets himself in position as he puts his glove on the outside part of the plate. The pitcher nods his head as he looks back to his teammates in the field, as he twist his body as he makes the pitch. The pitch is release as it heads right toward the plate. The hitter picks up his right leg as he prepares himself to connect with the pitch. The pitch drops to the outside part of the plate, but the hitter has time to react because the speed of the pitch as he stretches out his arms as he connects with the outside pitch and puts charge into it.
As the ball is in flight, we see the centerfielder is going back on the ball as he tries his best to shield the sun from his eyes as he follows the flight of the ball. He keeps going back on the ball, until he gets right up on an chain link fence. The centerfielder not really paying too much attention as he is trying to make a play on the ball. He continues to go back, as the ball appears to be coming up onto the fence. The centerfielder continues to go at a quick pace as he reaches up for the ball. As he does the ball drops right into his glove, but as the ball drops into his glove the centerfielder goes crashing shoulder first right into the chain link fence. He hits the ground hard, but luckly manages to hang onto the ball. We quickly see his teammates racing over to see if he is okay. A couple of coaches racing quickly to the outfielder to check on his condition as the centerfielder lays face first on the ground.
The leftfielder pulls the glove from his teammate hand as he and the rightfielder gentlely turn over the centerfielder as they do, he has a slight cut over his right eye, as the blood slowly drips down his cheek and onto his jersey. The coaches from both teams reach the outfield as they check over the player. The centerfielder as a glazed look in his blue eyes as he is trying to shake the cobwebs from crashing right into the chainlink fence. His teammates help him to his feet, as both coaches take a look at the centerfielder.
Coach: Son are you alright.
Centerfielder: Coach I am fine.
More blood drips from his cut over his right eye and now we see that a cut from his upper lip as more blood is covering his jersey. The cut looks real bad to the point that he might need stitches.
Centerfielder: Coach I am fine. Let me stay in the game.
Coach: Son I don't think so. You are bleeding real bad, and it appears that you are going to need some stitches. And besides you need to be check out, you , could have broken something. After all that was some collision.
Both coaches get under the shoulders of the centerfielder as they walk him off the field as he gets a cheer from the crowd and both teams. As he leaves the field the scene fades out.

We are back on the same field, but we can't really see the field to well because it is covered in snow. However there is someone standing in centerfield, actually right in the same spot where the centerfielder just a few moments ago made that nice catch, but had to leave the game because he crashed right into the chain link fence. The gentleman moves a few feet closer to that fence as he puts his left hand on the snowy fence.
Damn that was the very first time I crashed into this fence. Hell I think I crashed into this fence about three more times that year, but none of then knock me for quite a loop or put stitches in my upper lip.
The gentleman looks back toward home plate and then up to the sky as if he is reliving the past. The young man is wearing an orange and black jacket, with blue jeans and black and white spike shoes. As he looks back at the fence and again to home plate as we zoom in we see that it is Frostbite.
Frostbite: Ah yes this fence was beginning of many battles inside a cage. When I was 14, I ran face first right into this fence and it was something that you never forget. Hell a busted lip and a cut over my eyes was nothing in comparsion to the many battles I have had inside a steel cage. And in a strange way, maybe that is why I feel safe inside a cage because of taking many blows from not only this fence, but a cage as well. History will repeat itself as the Cold Hearted Bastard steps back into an RIW ring, but this time I get to take on Jack Morgan. Jack I have waited for this change to punish those you were responsible for me losing the title. You may tell the world that you have had nothing to do with screwing me out of the World title, or anybody in the Foundation for that matter. But I can't help feeling right down in the pit of my stomach that the Foundation is somehow responsible for costing me a World title. I believe you and Alyon Mac, probably paid off someone to put on a mask and come down to the ring and help your leader Jay Williams to win the World title.
Jay is finally a World Champion, not because he earned it because somebody helped him acheive his life long goal. Jack, if Jay is a rightous champion, we wouldn't have to beat around the bush. Why doesn't he just get back into that ring with me and put the title on the line. Well Jack, I know the reason he won't and that is because he knows he needs help to beat Frostbite. Jay might not admit it to the world, but he can't. His brother Lance I will give a little bit more credit to. at least he beat me in the middle of the ring. I might admit it took a chair shot to beat me, but at least Lance knew that. Jay, however really believes that he is the rightfully World Champion. Jay needs to step up to the plate and simply give me my rematch. But Jack, I wonder why you and I must play this silly little games. I wonder even if Alyon Mac is gone he isn't pulling some type of strings and he is putting this cage match together. Then again maybe Poole is doing me a favor and decides to put you inside a steel cage with me just so I can slam your ass around that cage just to let off a little stream.
Frostbite takes a few more steps toward the fence once again.
Frostbite: Jack, I wonder to myself and I am sure you do. Do you ever wonder if you really are some type of guniea pig for Alyon Mac or even Jay Williams. Ask yourself this very simply question? Why do you do the dirty work for others? Because you are too stupid to realize that you are being used. Jack you are going to say that you can certainly think on your own and do not need to be under someone coattails, but in fact you are. You let Jay take all the credit and have the World title when deep down inside your soul you should be the leader of the Foundation. Why is Jay the leader and not you? Think about it? Your boss never had any confidence in your ability in the first place. But you Jack continue to be everybody stepping stone. And what do you get for your efforts. Well you get to step into the ring with a very determine man inside an unforgiven steel cage. That is how you are rewarded. If Alyon Mac were here right now you would be doing the same thing. He would tell you right now. That your job is to try and slow me down, hurt me, so Jay can have a long run here in the RIW as champ. But we both know that your boy is living on borrowed time. After I destroy you inside this steel cage. You can bank on Poole finally giving me my rematch for the title.
And Jack I wouldn't be at least at all surprise if this masked individual tries to get inside that cage and tries to stick the screws to me once again. And if this person decides to show up, then he or she will be dealt with. But then again two on one wouldn't seem quite fair of a fight. I may need some back up. And Jack I do have such a plan in place. It would take one quick phone call and have one gentleman watching my back if need be. Jack if you and the Foundation want a damn war, then I will certainly give you one, but rest assure I will not fight this battle alone. As you step into that steel cage I want you to realize Jack that this isn't about a win or a lost, this is about making you suffer. We both know that a steel cage doesn't give an inch at all. I am going to take your face and try my best to shove your face right through it. I am going into that cage to hurt you. There is no other way to simple put it.
A cage animal is certainly a deadly one. And Jack you and the rest of the Foundation are going to have to contend with this caged one. You started this little war and I will strike the first blow, by hurting you. And then the rest of your crew will follow, until Jay and I are back inside that ring one more time. Jack you certainly might have your orders to try and slow me down, but you can forget it. Nothing will slow me down, not until the World title is back around my waist. Not a steel cage, not a mask individual, not even you Jack.
After those words, Frostbite heads off the field as the scene fades out.
