Spring Forward?

Is it just my computer, or is the board's time off because of Eastern Standard Time? Because I've selected the current time zone, and whenever I change it back in Board Options, it goes to the correct time....but then when I go back to the main page of the board...the time is off again?

Is it just me? :unsure:

EDIT: Correction, on my computer it's just when you select the EST timezone that it's messed up...when I select another one to try and compensate...that one is right, so the time is still off. So I'm either an hour ahead, or an hour behind on the board, because EST is wrong for me.

Its not just you...technically right now I should be seeing current posts as just a bit after 9pm...and they are reading at just after 10pm, so only an hour off EST instead of the normal 2.

they DID say that there would be some glitches--a mini Y2K thing happening so this makes does make some sort of sense

Yeah, I think the computers times are supposed to be wrong for three weeks or something like that.

OK... apparently for some strange reason this side of the world decided to change the time two weeks early. :suspic:


So I disabled the 'auto detect DST' option in the ACP. So you will have to go to your user cp and check the box that asks you if DST is in effect. Then when you change your time in your options, it will be correct.


Fucking technology! :mad:


EDIT: I had to uncheck both the auto detect and the 'is DST in effect' options for the time to appear right for me, you may have to do the same.
