Now that the last ShockWave of the year is done, and the last card of the year is up.... I feel I can make this announcement with a good conscience.

I'm taking an extended break from running HVW. During this time, Paula and Alyon will be 'co-fed head' until such a time I feel ready to take the responsibility back. I won't completely disappear, of course - if I'm needed to settle something they can't decide, I will do that; there's no way I'd leave my fed to suffer if/when it truly needed me.

I just have so much crap going on right now, with personal things, work issues, and the 'holiday depression' I get every year... and all of that together is killing my motivation. I would much rather take this break and get my head straight, than try to force myself through it and have the fed suffer as a result - given it already has, with my lackluster promo effort and the two day late show. I don't want to be the cause of that becoming the norm. I know that when things happen that force me to take time away from being overly involved in the fed, I usually explain exactly what it is that's bothering me, because I usually feel I owe everyone an explanation as to why I can't be there for my own company - but I'm not going to do that this time. Regardless of the disrespect that was shown to me, I'm going to do the decent thing and not make certain details public. If you don't already know, I'm sure you can find out easily enough by asking around a bit, though. I would really appreciate if everything pertaining to that situation, as well as the work one, if you've been told about that, was kept off the boards.


HVW will take it's usual holiday break after Apocalypse, and return sometime mid-January. We are discussing a Year End Awards show, as well.

Don't worry, Shane... I won't be completely MIA. Dexter is in good hands. I just don't have the drive to deal with the day-to-day operations of the fed. If you - or anyone else, for that matter - have an issue you don't feel comfortable going to the other staff with, I'll still listen and work with you.

HVW is still J's fed, and I'm simply taking over the day to day shit she's been dealing with along with Alyon. Apocalypse will be the ppv I deal with (it WAS my ppv and one of the ppv's I said had to come with the merge) but Alyon will do Shockwaves and I'll do Destruction.

To the rest of the inmates, if you think that this means you can sign up for a match and just blow me off and forget, turn it in late, whatever, I won't take it. I learned that lesson the hard way and I think Alyon, Alzy, and Ruppy all feel the same way. We want HVW to be the same (well in a sense of the word) as the way J left us in charge.

What Paula means to say, is that while I'm not doing the everyday stuff, important decisions and such are still my call, and I will be keeping an eye on things, and I won't let anything boneheaded go down. I'd like to think that if you trust me as a fed head, you can trust who I leave to run things when I'm not mentally/emotionally capable of dealing with everything myself. Again, if anyone has any concerns they'd rather speak to me about, I'll listen.

Well, while I do trust you as a fed-head... I don't trust Paula. I'm not trying to outright attack her, even though some of you may think that. There's just a reason I never really stayed in FTWO or went back. It's nothing personal, I just don't agree with the way she runs things.

But, that being said... I won't fuck off or anything. Despite my feelings, I'll stay because I know you'll be back in full charge eventually.
